Cherub’s Ball raising funds for School for Parents, Saturday 22 April 2017 at Colwick Hall, Nottingham
Always a highlight of the year and this year was no exception. Thank you to everyone that helped to make it ‘the best yet‘! With special thanks to Scarlett’s parents, Becky and Luke Baumber, who were so calm in the telling of their very moving story in front of 350 guests (and had a well-deserved standing ovation).
Thank you to our amazing ‘Cherubs’ Karen Richards, Jackie Clark, Heather Anthony and Susi Henson. – we could not have done it without your help over the past year and, more importantly, during the days and hours leading up to and during the event. Sam Paylor, Technical Manager at Confetti, along with students Callum Maxwell and Harvey Duddles who provided the tech support; the film-makers from Silver Reel Productions, stunning centrepieces from Flowers on the Main Street, Ruddington; Becky and Holly Sheeran for filling the goody bags, Cheryl and Danielle, Andrea and Jane for helping, Hannah from Vanity Lash for the beautiful balloon arches, Des Coleman for his sheer energy and enthusiasm, Kirsty and Tim Pesky Alligators, DJ James Brown GFOS, James Lewis ran the auction and Blue Monday ran the silent auction! Cheers, everyone and thanks, Colwick Hall for a brilliant night!
